Staff Bios

Erin
Store Manager, Dance Educator

Erin has been a dance educator since 1999 and continues to share her love of Dance to children of all ages today.  She is co-creator and co-director of Dance curriculums such as the Preschool Project, and Special Needs Dance Programs, educating young adults with learning disabilities.  Additionally, Erin is co-director of Canton’s Christmas Spectacular, a Broadway-Style Christmas Show.  Erin currently studies Elementary Education at Eastern Michigan University and works as a professional childcare provider. She has several years of retail experience and is extremely excited to serve the dancewear needs of the community as Downstage Dancewear’s Store Manager.

Erin
Retail Associate, United States Marine

Erin recently received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Marine Corp, following five years of faithful service to our country.  While enlisted, she received many personal awards for her hard work and dedication as well as many technical certifications.  Erin was able to travel to the word to places such as Iraq and South Korea along with several bases across the country.  Erin has a dance education that spans over 18 years.  In addition to her commitment to Downstage Dancewear she is also attending Central Michigan University studying Information Technology.

Beth
Retail Associate, Baton Teacher

Beth has experienced the world of dance as a student, competitor, teacher, judge and parent of competitive dancers.  She has studied Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Clogging and Baton Twirling.  Beth is a licensed teacher and judge with the World Twirling Association.  She has judged numerous competitions and pageants throughout the mid-west.  Beth also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a certified Project Management Professional.
